Dear teachers,
The final week of the Going Green 2014 project is now upon us. Together with you and your students, we are looking forward to the student competition and the concluding Going Green events in Berlin and elsewhere. In this newsletter, we’d like to remind you once again of the following:
– Participate in the Going Green competition
– Register for the concluding regional and national events
– Project feedback and evaluation
Participate in the Going Green competition
You and your students have time until Sunday night at 23:55 p.m. (CET) to submit your course’s sustainability action plan. As we have already announced in the previous newsletter (http://www.goinggreen2014.org/november-6-2014/), we encourage all participating courses to develop an action plan for sustainable activities in their schools and communities. You can submit the action plan in the Virtual Town Hall under “Your sustainability action plan”. If, for whatever reason, this is not possible, you can also submit it via e-mail. You and your students are free to choose your preferred format for this action plan, e.g. a poster, a PowerPoint presentation, a YouTube video, a blog etc. Don’t be shy, all types of ideas and projects, big or small, are welcome!
Register for the concluding regional and national events
The previous newsletter already contained all details concerning these events (http://www.goinggreen2014.org/november-6-2014/). If you and your students, or just a delegation of your course, would like to attend these events and have not yet registered, please contact the organizers ASAP. A limited number of free spaces for these events is still available.

The registration form can be accessed at http://www.goinggreen2014.org/wp-content/uploads/2014/11/Registration_Form_Final_Event_GoingGreen2014.docx.
Project feedback and evaluation
Finally, the Going Green team would like to announce that an online project evaluation and feedback form will be launched on the Moodle page shortly after the concluding events. This has been the first time ever that we organized the Going Green project with all accompanying teacher training seminars and other activities. In order to learn from our mistakes and optimize this project model in the future, we need feedback from you, our teachers, who filled the project with life and creativity in their classrooms. We will inform you in due time about the feedback form, but would be happy in any case to hear from you about your Going Green experience.
As our Going Green blogger, Alex Magaard, likes to say: When the going gets tough, the tough go green!
With this, I wish you a productive week and all the best,
Joannis Kaliampos
(on behalf of the Going Green team)
