Dear Teachers,
The Going Green Project is progressing. As of this week, some 850
users have been registered on our Moodle platform, and we know from many
teachers that they share these materials with colleagues and their
courses! Many student groups have already taken their eco-challenge and
presented their findings and experiences in the Virtual Town Hall. Many
students have also participated in an online exchange with our experts
of the week. Here is one very interesting exchange between a student
from Saxony, Sarah, and Professor Crister Garrett about sustainable
fashion: http://www.goinggreen2014.org/a-guest-post-from-dr-garrett/.
With the concluding student competition in
view, we are particularly happy to see that some of our participants
have already submitted their sustainability action plans. This is an
exciting project and we are happy about the positive and constructive
feedback we have received from you, our teachers, at teacher training
seminars throughout Germany as well as the Embassy’s Teacher Academy
last month.
