We’re back! Join us for the fifth iteration of the award-winning U.S. Embassy School Election Project 2024!

What is it about?

Welcome to the U.S Election Project 2024! As we gear up for another thrilling U.S. election, we're excited to announce the brand-new version of our project with exciting new materials and tasks. Our initiative remains committed to promoting democratic engagement and civil discourse among students. Through an intercultural blended-learning program, we aim to provide students with the tools to predict and evaluate election outcomes in an adopted state. Join us as we delve into the heart of American democracy once again! Throughout the project, students will delve into competing viewpoints and political arguments, fostering respect, civility, and open-mindedness in their intercultural engagement.

Who can participate?

The U.S Election 2024 project is tailored for intermediate to advanced English learners (upper secondary level grades 10 and above). With civil discourse and U.S. political culture being integral to most curricula, this project offers a rich learning experience across the board.

How?

Embark on the U.S Election 2024 journey through five comprehensive steps:

  1. Introduction to Your Assigned State: Get to know the unique political landscape of your chosen state.
  2. Study of the Electoral System: Understand the intricacies of the U.S. electoral process.
  3. Review of the Candidates: Explore the backgrounds and platforms of presidential contenders.
  4. Exploration of Campaign Issues: Analyze key issues shaping the election discourse.
  5. Final Prediction: Use your newfound knowledge to predict the presidential campaign outcome in your state.

Upon completion, consider participating in a nationwide competition, showcasing your well-researched insights.
