Prepare your own class project on "Humboldt and YOU" and participate in our Humboldt 250 school competition! Teach About US invites student groups and courses to develop their own creative projects on the legacy of Alexander von Humboldt and his role as an early global citizen. 

One or several of the following questions could be your overall theme: 

• What does Alexander von Humboldt mean to you today?
• How is he relevant to today's world and how does his work shape our society?
• What would Humboldt say or do if he could time travel to the present? What issues would he advocate, what debates would he join?
• In an ever more connected world, the global village, what can we learn from this historic figure?
• ...

Tackle your question and submit a creative product, for example: 

• A photo collage, an advertisement, a poster
• A short video or music clip (max. 2 minutes)
• An essay or blog post, a newspaper article or journal cover
• A flashmob or creative performance (recorded on video)
• ...

To participate, please submit your projects in the Virtual Town Hall or via email to Joannis Kaliampos (taieb.oussaifi@leuphana.de). The deadline for participation will be announced later. Representatives of the winning submissions will receive awards.
