Sustainability does not only concern the aspects of transportation, technology, and energy. In fact, one major topic that concerns us all immediately is the aspect of sustainable food. In recent years, the debate on genetically modified organisms, short "GMOs", has produced controversy among many citizens. Learn more about this issue by doing the tasks below. 

1. Investigate the issue of GMOs with the resources below as well as other resources answering the following questions:
   • What are GMOs?
   • Why are they produced? (see Videos 1 and 2)
   • What are general advantages and disadvantages linked to GMOs? (see video 3)
   • What are typical GM foods and ingredients?
2. Document your findings in the form of a poster/collage. You can either produce a digital poster or design a regular paper-and-pencil poster. For a digital collage poster, we suggest you use the simple photo collage maker Fotor or PowerPoint (  save presentation as PDF).
3. Upload your poster into the DATABASE: Collages & posters of group work on research tasks. (   You can submit a PDF or JPEG version of your digital poster or a photograph of your poster.)
